Water Wanderers are supporters, members or work with the following organisations, events and activities
Kayaking is often likened to bushwalking on water and is an ideal way to conduct a trip or expedition. It gives a different perspective and the kayaks or canoes carry the gear. Water Wanderers has a great working relationship with a number of Perth schools and love being involved in the pre-trip instruction, fun and game sessions and day and overnight trips.
Water Wanderers work with Paddle Academy who work predominately with Perth and outlying metropolitan schools. Groups learn all the basic paddling skills with an emphases on learning while having lots of fun. Summer is flatwater and oceans and Winter is flatwater and white-water.
UOTS was a paddling community event that Water Wanderers co hosts with Paddle WA. The aim was to set a world record for the largest raft of canoes, kayaks and skis. We never made the record but we had a lot of fun and met some wonderful paddlers. The main highlight was being featured in an amazing drone video by SkyworksWA
